New Treasury: INCrowd Team Flood Relief Funds, until 7/24 @9:09am

Michelle, aka atammcreation, hit it big with a treasury on her lunch hour! All items are in stores participating in the fundraising promo outlined below, to benefit flood victims in Columbus IN for the month of July. Click on the title of this post to get to the treasury.

REPOST: INCrowd is Partnering with Grace Lutheran Church in Columbus IN to Assist in Flood Relief Efforts

The INCrowd is partnering with Grace Lutheran Church in Columbus, IN to assist those affected by flooding in Indiana. Each participating shop will generously donate a minimum of 10% of their sales for the month of July.

Grace Lutheran Church is assisting flood victims by setting up temporary shelters and donating food and clothing items to those in need. "At the moment everyone has been helped and are in temporary housing - they closed the shelter over the weekend. We will continue to take donations for quite awhile; the next phase is to help people rebuild and many did not have insurance and FEMA is not covering everything" states Carrie, Etsy shop owner of TimeandSand, who is also the director of the Care and Outreach Program at the church.

"Our membership is spread across the state of Indiana. Any part of our state that is affected by disasters - natural or otherwise - needs our support. These are our neighbors, our friends, and our families." says Kim, Etsy shop owner of ThePeachMartini.

Look what Kim of thepeachmartini did!! She put together a romantic treasury entitled All You Need is Love...love is all you need (even if you aren't the walrus). You've got to check it out before it expires...it's really imaginative and fantastic. And remember, all purchases from participating INCrowd shops will yield 10% of sale price to a fund established by Grace Lutheran Church for assisting flood victims in the Columbus, Indiana area. We're in The Storque!

Thanks to work by our members, the INCrowd's Flood Relief efforts in conjunction with Grace Lutheran Church were featured in The Storque's 7/11/08 issue. The Storque is Etsy's e-zine, and everyone Etsy reads it. We're thrilled to have exposure for our work toward funding Grace Lutheran's efforts with our waterlogged Hoosier neighbors.

Another Great INCrowd Promotion!

The INCrowd is having a scavenger hunt!

It is the yearly Wearin' o' the Green Basket o' Fun and will run from March 1 through March 15, 2008. The prize will be a gift basket full of items generously donated by INcrowd members:

The rules are simple:

1. You must have an Etsy account, or sign up for one at http://etsy.com (easy and free).

2. Find all potentially participating shops by searching for "incrowd" in the search window at the top of the Etsy screen. Find every shamrock you can (they will be in with the pictures of one item on page one or two of a secret number of INCrowd stores). Convo Carolynn (nilochlainn.etsy.com) with the total you've found and the names of the shops in which you found each shamrock.

3. The entrant with the most shamrocks collected will be our winner. In the likely event of a tie, the winner will be chosen at random from all the correct entries.

4. The contest will run for 15 days, from March 1 through March 15. The winner will be notified via convo on March 17, and his or her name will be published on the blog and on the Etsy forums on the same day.
