Interstate Interview 9/9/09 - Michael Phipps of phippsart

You may have heard about this month's Interstate Interview subject in a recent Etsy email. Here's a little more about Michael Phipps, a kind and generous Etsian who created a phenomenon called the Sneak Attack!

Where are you located? Is this where you were born and raised? I’m currently in Orem, Utah, but grew up 45 minutes north of here in Salt Lake City. I’ve also had the chance to live for a year or two each in England, Québec and Connecticut, which were all tremendous experiences!

What types of creations do you sell in for your Etsy shop? I started out selling prints of my artwork, but soon decided to sell screen printed T-shirts. People are usually able to find more room in their closet for art than on their walls, so the T-shirts have done a lot better.

What's your educational background, as it relates to your work? I took a lot of art and music classes in high school and continued this trend on into college where I graduated in Illustration.

What’s your real-world job? I work from home as an artist, which includes my Etsy shop as well as freelance illustration jobs. My current projects are a privately commissioned oil painting, a painting for book of a Swedish version of Hansel and Gretel, and a 16’ x 33’ mural on canvas that will be going to Los Angeles. It makes it hard to fit in new shirt designs, but I’ve got about three or four I’m working on.

How'd you get started creating? Is everyone in your family artistic? All my life I have loved to create. As a kid, my friends and I used to draw, make marble chutes from cardstock, do origami, and all sorts of creative and artistic things. I still miss doing a lot of those things now that I have to try to make money off of it! My mother paints as a hobby and has always been very supportive as has the rest of my family, but not all are very artistic.

Who are some of your favorite artists? I really like Escher even after all these years. His art became very trendy while I was in high school, but I think he’s deserving of the recognition. I like many of Dali’s works (but not all!), as well Pieter Bruegel the Elder. I enjoy illuminated manuscripts and other ancient ornamental artwork, have been inspired by the album covers of Roger Dean, love good children’s books (especially Dr. Seuss) and much more.

Tell us a little about your creative process. I like to find inspiration from lots of sources so my ideas and work will vary. I have no interest in doing things like portraiture or landscapes, because my favorite part of the process is using my imagination. I’m aware that even creating from life requires a certain type of imagination, but I guess I like to do something a little more “out there” for the most part!

Please recommend five of your favorite shops from all of Etsy. In no particular order:
LittleRobot
yellena
melissamoss
rarebeasts
CaramelJubilee

Please share three favorite items from your own shop.

Instrumental Oddities Shirt This is my personal favorite shirt and therefore the one I wear the most. I love odd music and the bizarre instruments that help make it! I was a little worried that the design might have a limited appeal, but it’s done pretty well!

SNIP Shirt The other shirt I wear a lot is my SNIP shirt (I’ve linked the women’s version for variety, though). The power in the design is that it gets the viewer to picture what will happen to the birds in the near future and to use a bit of imagination.

Maternity Fetus Shirt I can’t say that I’ve ever worn this one, although I have had two or three guys request custom versions of it!

Where else can we find you on the internet?
On Twitter, Facebook, ScatterbrainTees.com and michaelphipps.net.

Do you sell anywhere offline (consignment, retail, craft shows, etc.)? I’ve done a few shows and have items selling on consignment at about seven or eight places across the country.

We've got many new INCrowdteam members - some of whom have just opened up shop. Can you share a tip or two, some advice, on how to make our shops successful? I do better when I am advertising somewhere off site. The more specific it is to my shop, the better!

So, what’s the deal with the Handmade Movement? Tell us why you started, how you got people to participate in the first few Sneak Attacks, etc. Remembering how great it was to make that first sale on Etsy, I started threads in the Etsy forums one day entitled “Make Someone’s Day,” encouraging people to buy from people who hadn’t had any sales. It was so successful that I decided to take it a step further and do a “Sneak Attack,” where multiple buyers would “gang up” on an unsuspecting shop (that had few or no sales) and buy things at a given time. The idea caught on quick and in a few days we had already done four! So I started
a web site
where all this could be coordinated and it has grown to this day. To date there have been 144 Sneak Attacks on a total of 233 shops, resulting in around 2700 sales!

The Sneak Team's one-year anniversary must be a pretty big deal; let our readers know about the promotions and celebrations going on in September! We’re very excited that the Sneak Attacks are still going strong after a year, so we are having a big party on our one year anniversary. We’ll get together in a thread in the Etsy forums (which will be announced on www.handmademovement.com) and party, and throughout the day there will be three giveaways, followed by a mega-giveaway in the evening. Over 15 Etsy sellers have contributed items towards this last giveaway so far, and the number continues to grow. Some other fun things are planned for that day, so make sure to stop by and have some fun. Once again, details will be found on the web site as that time draws closer.

Anything else to brag on? I’ve been featured in a number of juried publications, including Illustrators Annual, Communication Arts, Spectrum Fantastic Art and Luerzer’s Archive 200 Best Illustrators Worldwide.

What have I left out that you’d like to mention or talk about? Forget everything above; the best part about me is that I have a wonderful wife and three great kids. I feel very fortunate! If you made it this far, thanks for reading!

Thank you, Michael - I will "see" you for tomorrow's Sneak Attack! --- Stockannette

Interstate Interview 8/12/09 - Angie and Deb of timesandchimes

Welcome to a very special Wednesday! This is my first Interstate Interview, so, readers, be gentle with me! Today it is my pleasure to introduce to you a shop that I originally became aware of through a blog post: meet Times And Chimes!

First things first: what's the origin of your shop's name? 'Times' comes from our love of everything vintage and antique. 'Chimes' comes from originally wanting to make wind chimes, also, and we still might, someday.

How many of you are there, and what are your names? There are two of us: Angie Keenan and Deb Durler.

How did you meet, or are you related? We are a mother/daughter team - we've known each other for a long time now (smile)!

Where are you located? Is this where you were born and raised? If not, tell us where you’re from. We are located in Branson, Missouri. Deb was born and grew up in central Kansas, before moving to Branson in 1996. Angie was born and raised in central Kansas, moved to south Texas for 12 years, then moved to Branson, right next door to Mom, a few years ago.

What types of creations do you sell in your Etsy shop? Birdhouses, decorative and functional. We also feature ornaments at Christmas time with the bird and birdhouse theme. We recently added some darling little birdhouse plant stakes.

Are you crazy about birds? Silly question! Of course we are! We have birdfeeders and birdhouses everywhere and enjoy sitting outside watching them every chance we get!

How many birdhouses do you have in your own yards? We have ten birdhouses, between our two yards... and numerous bird feeders!

Whatd’ya got for cardinals? (The cardinal is Indiana’s State Bird!) Since cardinals nest in shrubbery and trees, they don't really use our houses, but for the cardinal lover, we have many cute houses that would draw other birds to your yard.

What are your educational backgrounds, as they relate to your work? Angie's background is in pre-school and special education. Deb has her Master's in business management and human resources.

What are your real-world jobs? Angie is an awesome stay-at-home mom and volunteers often with the public school system, helping with special needs children. Deb is temporarily retired after 31 years in municipal government management.

How'd you get started creating? We have always been "creative" and "crafty." We had some antiques that we wanted to put to good use, and a lot of birds in our yards. We love birds and thought that putting antique and vintage items on birdhouses was a wonderful way to show them off. Making the birdhouses out of reclaimed wood supported our love of everything "green."

How are your shop’s responsibilities divided? Does one person create while the other person handles online business, or do you both do everything? We both do it all!

Tell us a little about your creative process; does it start with finding an old doorknob, or with a vision for a certain paint scheme, or...? Normally, we start with the wooden structure and then play with all of our "attachments" to see what looks good. Sometimes, we find something special and build the house around that item. Angie is usually the most creative with what looks good, and Deb usually builds the houses because she LOVES power tools!

Recommend your five favorite shops from all of Etsy.
BeeDazzlesGifts - We include her cards with our orders.
MudHutt - We love her ceramics and recently had her custom make some to add to our birdhouses.
Merchantofkismet - We have purchased many antique and vintage items from her to use on our houses.
Remarkablebird - Love her drawings and have purchased some of her art for our walls.
Sosorosey - We love her crocheted items.

Please share three favorite items from your own shop.

Tip Your Hat Birdhouse

Golden Key Birdhouse with Antique Details

Shabby Green Birdhouse with Vintage Miniatures

Do you sell anywhere offline (consignment, craft fairs, etc.)? We sell to friends and acquaintances locally. We have talked about trying craft fairs, but haven't taken that plunge yet. We have also thought about consignment and been approached by several dealers, but we really don't like the idea that someone else would get the profit for our creations.

Do you belong to any Street Teams? If so, which ones and why? If not, why not? We joined a Missouri team, but haven't gotten involved with it because they mainly meet in person and we are too far away. We would love to belong to a team like you all have, where you are all connected and work together for and with each other! You are very lucky and we know that you all work hard at it!

What's your favorite thing about selling on Etsy? We love all the wonderful people we have met through Etsy! Sometimes it is a buyer or seller we connect with - sometimes it is through commenting on a treasury, and sometimes it is a result of hearting or Angie's blog. We creative folks share a common bond and support each other so well through Etsy!

Where else can we find you on the internet? On our blog and on Twitter.

What have I left out that you’d like to mention or talk about? We love browsing through flea markets and antique shops and finding unique and eclectic items to put on our houses! We even have relatives doing that for us, too! We think that is what makes us special! We also love knowing that our houses have traveled around the world to find their homes - in fact, our second sale was to a lady in the United Kingdom.

Deb (left) and Angie (right), the dynamic duo behind Times And Chimes! The photo was taken at Angie's wedding.

Thank you both for being such cooperative interview victims - I mean subjects! It's been fun getting to know you, and getting a sneak peek into the process that results in such wonderful handmade products; I hope there will be many more of your birdhouses in Indiana very soon! I also appreciate your tip about cardinals not living in birdhouses; that'll save me hours of worrying why they don't wanna hang out at my place!

INCrowd Interstate Interview, 1/14/09 - Alicia Istanbul aka istanbuldesigns

Here's some truly amazing metalsmithing from Alicia "yes, my last name really is Istanbul :)" Istanbul. Her work is astonishing. Canada's loss is our gain!!

Where were you born & raised?
Born and raised in Toronto, Canada.

Where are you now & what led you there?
I now live in Atlanta, Georgia, because of the amazing and handsome American guy I'm married to.

What types of creations do you sell in for your Etsy shop(s)?
I sell original handcrafted art jewelry in sterling silver and gold.

What's your educational background, as it relates to your work?
I'm a French teacher by profession. I have a BA in French, a Bachelor of Education, and a Masters degree in French. Although I only taught French for 4 years, I am happily retired from teaching and am living the dream of running my own company from my home based studio. It really is like a dream come true.

How'd you get started creating?
I've always been an artist at heart (that must sound so cliche). I started making beaded and wire wrapped jewelry as a hobby a few years ago. I'm always looking for the next challenge, and that lead me to metalsmithing. I've been metalsmithing for almost 3 years.

Do you belong to any Street Teams? If so, which ones and why? If not, why not?
I am a proud member of the Etsy Metal street team. They're like my online family :)

What's your favorite thing about selling on Etsy?
I love that I'm in the company of some of the most incredibly talented crafters ever.

INCrowd Interstate Interview, 12/28/08 - Tracey Allyn Greene, aka tagscats

Our very own spiceoflifedesigns hearts tagscats, so I had to go and check tagscats for myself. And, yep, I loved what I saw! Here's why:

Where were you born & raised?
I was born and raised in Warminster, PA

Where are you now & what led you there?
I'm live in Huntsville, Alabama. I moved down here in 1990 with my husband who works for NASA.

What types of creations do you sell in for your Etsy shop(s)?
I paint in oils on canvas, watercolor and ink on paper, and acrylic pet portraits on river rocks. Pets, especially cats, are a favorite subject of mine, but, I do not limit myself on subject matter and enjoy painting many things.

What's your educational background, as it relates to your work?
I am a primarily self-taught artist.

How'd you get started creating?
I was always drawing when I was younger, and though I got away from art for a time during my college years at Penn State and through various jobs, I took up painting once again 6 years ago. At the time I was still working as a veterinary technician, and I decided I wanted to start painting my cats. When my friends saw my work, I started getting commissions for my river rock pet portraits, and things just progressed from there. I started selling online as well, and a gallery owner saw my work and started purchasing my works, and gave me my first solo show in 2004. I had the opportunity to visit Paris in 2005, and seeing all the wonderful artworks in that city made me realize I wanted to become a full-time artist, and in 2006 I did just that. I am living my dream now.

Do you belong to any Street Teams? If so, which ones and why? If not, why not?
I am part of the EBSQ Street Team, EFA (Etsy for Animals), Design Style Guide/Interior Design Team, and VAST (Visual Artists Street Team).

What's your favorite thing about selling on Etsy?
Etsy is such a warm community. I feel like everyone works together to support and encourage one another on this site, it's really quite amazing. The talent here is amazing as well. I'm proud to be a part of it!

INCrowd Interstate Interview, 12/14/08 - alaskanphoenix

She came to me unexpectedly...yes, I was working on my wolfgangzehen shop and out of nowhere I got a really sweet email about that store's merchandise and purpose. It was alaskanphoenix. We struck up a little convo immediately, and I realized we'd never interviewed an Alaskan before on the INCrowd blog! So, to put that right, here she is:

Where were you born & raised?
I was born and raised in Heber City, Utah.

Where are you now & what led you there?
I am currently living in Wasilla, Alaska. I moved here with my parents.

The obvious question arises: do you know Governor Sarah Palin?

Yes, I know the governor. Very sweet woman, I hope the best for her.

How'd you get started creating?
I pick up hobbies all the time. I need a creative outlet, something to do with my hands and keep me busy. I enjoy other hobbies, although beading is my new favorite one!

What types of creations do you sell in for your Etsy shop(s)?
I mostly sell handmade jewelry in my Etsy shop. It's my new hobby. I have another shop called GingertreeCreations but it's empty right now.

What's your educational background, as it relates to your work?
I have no educational background in beadery or jewelry, I teach myself.

What's your muse, or what turns that little creative light inside you on?

My creative light twinkles when I see "new to me jewelry" that I just love. I tell myself, "You can do that!" So then I try.

What's your favorite thing about selling on Etsy?
My favorite thing about selling on Etsy is the shopping, I love seeing others' creations. There are so many creative people out there!

Are you a member of any Street Teams?
No, I do not belong to any street teams. I don't know what street teams are.

Recommend your five favorite shops on Etsy.

INCrowd Interstate Interview, 11/28/08 - Cassie Ogle, aka thecraftykitten

I was zooming across the Eastern seaboard the other week, checking out some cool Etsy shops, and look what I found! Yes, a binder. But this binding is unlike anything else I have seen. When you see her faves at the bottom of the page, you'll understand what I mean. Enjoy!

Where were you born & raised?
Richlands, Virginia nestled in the Appalachian Mountains.
Where are you now & what led you there?
I’m still in Virginia but I hope to move during the next few years.

What types of creations do you sell in for your Etsy shop(s)?
I sell hand bound books. I’m currently taking steps toward mainly using recycled materials.

What's your educational background, as it relates to your work?
In 2006, I participated in an intense apprenticeship for hand bound books. I studied under my dear friend Robyn Raines. I have since then picked up many techniques through reading books and lots of trial and error.

How'd you get started creating?
I cannot remember a time that I wasn’t creating. During December ’07, I wrote a blog post a day about things I crafted while I was growing up. You can read all about that here on my blog: http://paperkitty.wordpress.com/category/kidmade/

Do you belong to any Street Teams? If so, which ones and why? If not, why not?

INCrowd Interstate Interview, 11/14/08 - Ellen Hagan aka kidznames

I have no kids. Therefore, I know jack-mo about things that kids dig. As a result, I love shopping Etsy for kids' stuff. Why? I learn. Who knew, for instance, that a boy holding a surf-board would be a favored method of drawing an "N"? Now I know. Let Kidz Names teach you too.

Where were you born & raised?
Born in NYC, moved to Savannah, Georgia with my family as a teenager (quite a culture shock - but I am a southerner now!).

Where are you now & what led you there?
I live in Savannah with my husband and my teenage daughter. I love living in this small, beautiful, historic city. It's a real haven for artists and other creative types.

What types of creations do you sell in for your Etsy shop(s)?
I am selling personalized children's name paintings. Each letter looks like a child doing a sport, or a dance or another activity. They are all originals done by hand...no printing involved.

What's your educational background, as it relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree in art education from the University of Georgia, and a Masters degree in Creative Arts in Learning from Lesley University. I have been teaching art in the public schools for over 20 years, and it has certainly influenced my name painting creations.

How'd you get started creating?
I started these paintings when a friend had a baby girl and asked my to create a painting for her. The baby is now 19 years old, in college, and her painting is still hanging on the wall of her bedroom.

Do you belong to any Street Teams? If so, which ones and why? If not, why not?
I am in the process of joining the Georgia Street Team and I've been invited to join the F.A.M. (fabulous artistic moms). All of this is very new to me, but very exciting.

What's your favorite thing about selling on Etsy?
Etsy is exactly what I've been looking for...an online place to sell original pieces of art. I never had the no-how to put together my own website, and when I found Etsy, it was like someone was there walking me through the process!

INCrowd Interstate Interview, 9/14/08 - Trina Gratrix, wovenchains

I was feeling footloose again and I wandered over to the Shop Local area. I entered Seattle to see what would come up (that's such an active Etsy area) and I found WovenChains. I was completely blown out. Read on and you'll see why:

Where were you born & raised?
I was born in Cooperstown, NY (home of the Baseball Hall of Fame), but I don’t remember ever living there. I was raised in beautiful Seattle, WA.

Where are you now & what led you there?
Now I’m in Kent, WA, about 20 miles south-east of Seattle. I live here with my wonderful husband and my sweet little girl. I’m here because I love this area, and I didn’t want to move away from my family. We moved out of the city for lots of reasons, mainly because it was cheaper to buy a house. We are very close to our families, though, so we didn’t want to move too far from them. A great bonus of where I live is that I’m only 5 minutes away from my dad.

What types of creations do you sell in for your Etsy shop(s)?
I make chainmaille jewelry. I work mostly in fine metals (sterling silver, and gold-fill), but I’m getting more into copper these days. I make tons of earrings, some bracelets, pendants and a few necklaces. I’m also trying to branch out a bit. One of my latest listings was for stitchmarkers for knitting.

What's your educational background, as it relates to your work?
When it comes to my work, I’m mostly self taught. I’ve taken a couple of classes, but DVD’s, internet tutorials and lots of playing around have been my major teachers.

How'd you get started creating?
I’ve been creating for as long as I can remember. Sometimes I feel like I’ve tried everything – crocheting, quilting, origami (with paper and with fabric), and so many other crafts. I got started with chainmaille when I saw that an acquaintance of mine was offering a class (one of those few that I mentioned), and once I tried weaving metal, I was hooked!

Do you belong to any Street Teams? If so, which ones and why?
Yes! I belong to EtsyRain, the Western Washington Street Team. I love belonging to EtsyRain, we have already had a couple of exclusive craft shows (where all of the vendors were EtsyRain members), and we have another one in the fall. We also have some great social events, and a message board where we can discuss all of the important issues regarding Etsy and selling your work. I also belong to the newly formed Chainmailler’s Guild, and I’m very excited to see where that team is headed. There are some exciting things ahead.

What's your favorite thing about selling on Etsy?
The best thing about selling on Etsy is all of the wonderful people I have met, through EtsyRain, through the forums, and the customers. I really like that you can have such a personal relationship with your customers and with other sellers.

Mary was sweet enough to hunt us down and leave a nice comment about the blog. How can I resist such flattery! How can anyone resist her work?!?! I had to get her interviewed right away. Enjoy:

Where were you born & raised?
I was born and raised in Cleveland, OH.

Where are you now & what led you there?
I now live in Columbus, OH. My husband's job brought us here.

What types of creations do you sell in for your Etsy shop(s)?
I sell jewelry made with sterling silver, gemstones and some artisan lampwork beads and Swarovski crystal.

What's your educational background, as it relates to your work?
I have taken some classes and also teach myself new techniques. I attended an amazing workshop with Connie Fox, a well-known wire artist last year.

How'd you get started creating?
I've been creating something for as long as I can remember. I saw a class at a local bead shop and decided to try it. I had great fun with it and just kept learning and creating.

Do you belong to any Street Teams? If so, which ones and why? If not, why not?
I belong to Art Jewelry Collective, Etsybus, and BBEST. The teams are a great source of support, information and friendship.

What's your favorite thing about selling on Etsy?

INCrowd Interstate Interview, 8/14/08 - Erin, Underroos

Meet Erin of Underroos. Let's see what she had to tell us:

Where were you born & raised?
I was born in Atlanta, Georgia but moved to Gulf Breeze, Florida when I was five or so. We lived in Gulf Breeze for about ten years, hanging out on the beach and generally getting awesome, until my dad took a job in Tempe, Arizona in the middle of July. At which point my entire family contemplated mass suicide.

Where are you now & what led you there?
Yeah, I'm still in Tempe. My initial outrage and hatred "cooled," so to speak, and now I love it here in the desert.

What types of creations do you sell in your Etsy shop(s)?
I'm a one-trick Etsy pony: I make and sell Sock Zombies. Zombie dolls lovingly made from socks. That's it. That's the whole show. Although the zombies themselves do vary quite a bit from one another. I've recently started creating character zombies; people seem to love the Pirate Zombies (zombies dressed in little felt pirate vests with eye patches and booty bags) and I think my favorite so far has to be my Samurai Zombie. I'm really proud of that guy.

What's your educational background, as it relates to your work?
I have absolutely no formal sock zombie education. I have a bachelor's degree in English, and if I'd defend this stupid thesis looming here on my desktop already I'd have a master's degree, as well. Everything else I know is through self-taught trial and error.

How'd you get started creating?
I've always been INTERESTED in creating -- I've just never been very good at it. I've spent twenty-five years trying to crochet a decent afghan but I'm fouled at every turn. The sock zombies came about last year when I was trying to learn to make sock monkeys. I was using white socks, right, which seemed sort of ghostly to me, and once I figured out how to make the arms stick straight out they just screamed "zombie". I added the blood drool and some other zombie touches and there you go.

Do you belong to any Street Teams? If so, which ones and why? If not, why not?
I do, I belong to the Arizona Crafty Burrito Collective. Fabulous team full of fabulous and supportive people. If you're not a member of a street team, I can't recommend it enough. It brings an entirely new level of support and enthusiasm to your craft.

What's your favorite thing about selling on Etsy?
The broad range of people and art I come in contact with on a daily basis. Etsy provides this amazing interface in which art and artists can collide and come together. I can think of no better source of inspiration and enthusiasm than Etsy.

INCrowd Interstate Interview 7/28/08 - Michelle Selzer Palmer (Frog Princess Couture)

This week's interview is with Michelle Seltzer Palmer of FrogPrincessCouture. Here's what she had to tell us:

Where were you born & raised?
Born and raised in the SOUTH...Hi, ya'll!! Now in the Blues city of Memphis!

Where are you now & what led you there?
Family lead us to Memphis...we enjoy the music festivals and the abundant museums and gardens. We tend to embrace where we are: so we listen to a lot of BB King and Elvis here! There are several universities in the area as well as the BIG OLE Mississippi River...I happen to love Mark Twain. 8-)

What types of creations do you sell in your Etsy shop(s)?
I sell the most fru- fru things you can imagine for little girls! I LOVE anything sweet and girly! I love to create unique furniture pieces as well as ARTSY hair bow holders...I have been known to make a tutu or a custom dress as well.

What's your educational background, as it relates to your work?
I have a Master's in Education/English, so it doesn't relate DIRECTLY, but I do think of myself as an artist. Both of my parents "create" too, and I guess I inherited the desire to just MAKE it myself!

How'd you get started creating?
I wanted to make something for my daughter and thought that instead of paying $400 for that cute little boutique table, maybe I would make it!

Do you belong to any Street Teams? If so, which ones and why? If not, why not?
No, I need to check it out! There are some wonderful people here in Memphis

What's your favorite thing about selling on Etsy?
The people!

INCrowd Interstate Interview, 7/19/08 - Camille Grimshaw (Camillion Creations)

This week's interview is with Camille Grimshaw of CamillionCreations. Here's what she had to tell us:

Where were you born & raised?
Salt Lake City, Utah

Where are you now & what led you there?
Salt Lake City, Utah...still here.

What types of creations do you sell in your Etsy shop(s)?

Mostly mermaid artwork including paintings, prints, note cards, custom work, and art pendants.

What's your educational background, as it relates to your work?

I have a BA in Art and Education & a Masters of Education from Westminster College in Salt Lake City.

How'd you get started creating?
Someone gave a pencil or crayon when I was very young and it started there. I took it more seriously when I had school to pay for.

Do you belong to any Street Teams? If so, which ones and why? If not, why not?
I belong to Utah Etsy...but I don't know if it is a street team, I am guessing not.

What's your favorite thing about selling on Etsy?

I love it when people are willing to trade...it helps me "shop" and not
kill my budget.
