Thanksgiving Scavenger Hunt: And the Winner is...

The drawing was held for the winner of the INCrowd's gift basket from a total of 16 correct entries. And the winner is...Calyxann! Congratulations to you!

Thanksgiving Scavenger Hunt Planned for November 15

The IN Crowd is planning on having a scavenger hunt to begin on November 15, and run through November 20. All of our active members will be included in the hunt. The players will need to find six Thanksgiving related items to win.

The most exciting thing about this promotion is the prize! We will be giving away a wonderful package of goodies from many of our members. The value of this prize, though not calculated exactly at this point, will be over $200! Items to be included are jewelry, candles, handmade knitted goods, and many, many more!

What a great way for all to become acquainted with the IN Crowd and its many talented members! So, mark your calendars! You don't want to miss out on this one!

Magic Bus Contest: And the Winner is...

Hurdler4Eva! They won the gorgeous necklace that Dana made for our "Magic Bus" game.

We did have a few glitches in this month's game. A few of our members were late getting their buses in their shops... And, that made it impossible for players to find them! Sorry to those of you who suffered during the hunt.

Play the INCrowd’s “Magic Schoolbus” Game on Etsy!

Starting September 6th, the IN Crowd is going to play a game. The winner will receive the lampwork necklace pictured below which was created by newmoondesign. We’re going to celebrate that Magic Schoolbus that transports our darlings off to school while leaving us peaceful time to CREATE! Hahaha! The participating members will hide the wondrous flying bus in one of their listings. You just have to search and find them.

The prize: beautiful, fall-colored ribbons and yarn were woven using the ancient Japanese method called Kumihimo to create the strand part of the necklace. There are three large-hole lampwork focal beads separated by Thai sterling silver rings that together form an eye-catching centerpiece. The remaining ribbons hang loosely below the beads in a tassel effect. The clasp is wire wrapped to the cording with sterling wire, and the clasp is a Thai sterling silver toggle. Retail price would be $100 for this piece. It can by yours free just for finding all those magical buses!

The rules are simple.
1. You must have an Etsy account, or sign up for one on the website http://etsy.com/ .
2. Search the participating shops listed below to find a magic bus. It will look just like the one above, but may be smaller or larger. Each shop has one bus hidden somewhere. When you find one, make a note of the shop name, and the item number shown in the address window of that item, ie "http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=". The answer would be pingwen .

3. When you've found all of the buses, send a convo to Dana (newmoondesign) with all your answers.

4. The winner will be the entry with the most correct bus sightings. In the likely event of a tie, the winner will be chosen at random from all the correct entries.

5. The contest will run for one week, September 6 through September 12. The winner will be notified via convo on September 13, and will be published on the blog and on the Etsy forums.

Sunny Has Been Found

And, the winner is Kate of libragear !!! We had 14 entries with the correct anwers, and from those her name was drawn from the "Grand Poobah" hat! Congratulations Kate! She will get the frog necklace, and the other entrants will receive a special thank you package from us as well!

Play the INCrowd's "Find Sunny" Game

On August 1, the IN Crowd is going to play a game. The winner will receive a lovely necklace made by PinGwen. It's a fun, silly little game, where we hide the hot August sun (aka Sunny) in one of our listings. You just have to search and find them.

Here's a photo of the prize. Necklace is made of silver plated chain with a cute lampwork frog for a centerpiece. There are matching Czech glass beads and silver plated beads hanging from the chain all around. The clasp is a lobster claw type to hold it securely around your neck. Retail price would be $25 for this piece. It can by yours free just for finding all the sunnies in the game!
